Have you heard about Gray Thursday? Learn How You can Out-Trick those Deal Stuffing Retailers!

Have you heard the news??
Thanksgiving has been called Gray Thursday!

Oh Tuesday's episode (November 26, 2013) on the Queen Latifah Show, Tuesday afternoon, Mark Ellwood* let out a few tips for this year's shopping and even let us know what we should be keeping an eye out for in our favorite stores.

Here are some of Queen Latifah and My favorite tips from Mark Ellwood:

Gray Thursday:
We all know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday but what about Gray Thursday? Thanksgiving evening is when many stores put their hottest deals online before the start of Black Friday at midnight! So now you can save even earlier.... AFTER you spend lots of time with the family.

The Classic Price Trick:
Mark Ellwood claims that all retailers put very expensive items next to items that they want you to think is an awesome deal. What you believe is a good deal... probably isn't. To spot this sneaky little trick, simply take that item to a different department in the store... When you look at it without all of the other numbers and prices, your brain will make the final decision and allow you to pick out the REAL deal and not the look-alike!

Ask the Staff:
Are you one of those people who believe that the staff just get in your way when your shopping for those top deals? Why not try something different and see what you get.... Ask about the options that you may have if you give them your email address. Alot of times, the staff has a hidden coupon that they can give you but they'll only revel it to the ones who speak up and ask! (95% of the time says Mark Ellwood)

Deal Saving Apps

DealNews:
One of "the Top 100 Most Useful Sites on the Internet" by MSN Money, the DealNews app allows you to browse through over 100 deals a day from over 2000 online retailers! Not only can you search the latest deals easily on your phone, but you also get to set up alerts so you'll never miss the lowest price on your favorite items again. Download the app!

PoachIt:
